Davis Museum (1993)
A true hybrid of painting and sculpture, this series was made by painting on flat, dense slabs of Hydrocal - right up to the edge. The edge becomes a place of disappointment, the place where painting's illusion is ultimately undercut, contested, and questioned.
The Casting Process
